Wentworth Miller: Resident Evil - Afterlife: Wentworth Miller at Comic Con!

For those of you, who are not quite sure what Comic-Con is, please follow the link below to read all about it.
It was July 24Th, 2010 when Went’s fans were anticipating his appearance at Comic-Con’s Convention Center in San Diego, California.  I can remember the occasion quite vividly.
When the news broke that Went was going to be on the panel alongside Paul Anderson, Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter to speak about Resident Evil Afterlife,  I was beside myself with excitement. A lot of preparation went into my day for this event.
First of all I made sure that I wasn’t going to be interrupted at all costs. The telephone was taken off the hook and my cell phone was put on “silent mode”.  Secondly, I made sure I was completely alone.  I hung a sign on the gate that read “No Visitors Allowed”.

I sat glued to my computer waiting for the news to come in.  When Went finally made his grand entrance on the stage, the tweets started to appear on my  computer screen.  The only thing is the tweets couldn’t come fast enough for me. [She frowns.] Impatiently I started clicking my cursor and scrolling up and down trying to make them appear. With all the fidgeting my computer spluttered,  spat and then rudely bombed out.  I had to give it quite a few bangs, bashes and kicks.  After what seemed like an eternity to me, it then decided to finally kick in.  [She sighs with relief.]

Finally I settled down and managed to catch up with what was going on.  As I continued to read the tweets my imagination ran wild.  I’m sure I had an OBE (Out of Body Experience) ‘cause I could actually see myself standing right there at the bottom of the stage, in Hall H watching Went stroll across the stage, smiling and waving to everyone in the audience, except to me.

Went took his seat in front of me. He then looked directly at me ... in that split second we made eye contact and then suddenly I heard giggling, laughing, singing and a tinkling of a piano playing melodies in my head ending off with "Dr Pepper", that kept on playing over and over again.

My heart was racing, I couldn’t breathe, I was panting and to top it all I felt flushed all over.  Hives broke out all over my body.  I then began itching from head to toe.  Too much "Dr Pepper" I guess!

Meanwhile, in reality, I was having an anxiety attack on the other side of the world as Went was taking centre stage in San Diego.  Yep no one in sight to help me! My clever little scheme of making sure I was going to be completely alone, backfired on me.  With no paper bag to blow into I managed to crawl on my hands and knees to the kitchen to grab a glass of sugar water and have a quick sniff of Sal volatile. I found a bottle of Calamine Lotion in the medicine chest and painted my body pink.  I managed to scramble back to my study with bruised and bloodied knees.  As I clicked on my computer with sore painful hands and torn finger nails I discovered to my horror and dismay, that the event was all over. I had missed out on my Went’s day at Comic Con. [She sobs brushing away the tears.]
Gee whiz Went sure does have a strange effect on a person! [She laughs.]
You have just read a segment of …
Thank goodness for You Tube and the photographers.  They provided Went’s fans with all these wonderful photographs and interviews:

I love Went's sarcastic wit.  "Guns ... Bullets?"
and most of all his cute expressions on his face!
I've called  this video "The Seduction" for obvious reasons!  [She says as she raises her eyebrow.]
